We
sponsor scholarship awards for members, their families and Tucson area
students for studies related to Norwegian culture and language in Norway
and the USA. Applications are due by February 15th of each year.

ROSEMALING (Norwegian Folk Painting)
Contemporary
folk artists keep up the traditions of Norwegian Rosemaling, with the
same love and care of the old Norwegian artisans from 1775-1875.
Gretchen Carew earned a Gold Medal in Rosemaling in the Norwegian
Tradition from Vesterheim, Norwegian-American Museum in Decorah, Iowa.
